Transport by LNG ships
68.7% of the natural gas reached the national system on liquefied natural gas ships and the remaining 31.3% came via gas pipelines.

The shipments unloaded from LNG ships continued at high levels and kept our country among the most important destinations in the world. Last year, approximately 24.2 bcm of LNG reached Spanish terminals, around 69% of our natural gas requirements. This positioned us in third place in the world, behind Japan and Korea and on the same level as the USA.
